Fluted Desk Pot

A desk pot with a bit of character. Instead of a plain cylinder, the whole outside is wrapped in fine vertical flutes — the reeded look you see on good ceramics and mid-century homeware — so it catches the light and reads as something deliberate rather than something 3D-printed to fill a gap. It's sized as a proper pen and pencil pot: about 68 mm across and 92 mm tall, with a solid 3.6 mm fluted wall and a closed base, so it's got real weight to it and won't skate around when you drop a fistful of pens in. It's just as happy holding brushes, scissors, cotton buds in a bathroom, or a small dry plant. The flutes are modelled as shallow rounded grooves, not cut-through slots, so the wall stays watertight-solid and the finish comes off the printer clean. It prints upright with no supports — the vertical flutes actually hide layer lines beautifully, which makes it very forgiving to print. 0.2 mm layers, 2–3 perimeters, PLA or PETG. One STL, ready to slice.
