Acanthus Flourish Onlay Set

Three classic carved flourishes to dress furniture, doors and frames. This set gathers a trio of decorative onlays in the baroque tradition: a wide, symmetrical crown-piece with scrolling volutes flanking a central petal fan; a compact scroll cartouche with paired C-curls and a leafy heart; and a tapering acanthus-leaf drop that finishes a stile or panel corner. Each is modelled as smooth, rounded relief that reads as genuinely hand-carved wood. They make ideal appliques for cabinet doors, headboards, mirror and picture frames, mantels, clock cases and restoration work. Mix and match them across a project for a coordinated, period look. CNC notes • Cut from lime, cherry, walnut or another dense hardwood for clean, splinter-free curls. • A 3mm ball-nose finishing pass captures the petal veins and scroll cores; use a fine stepover for a sand-ready surface. • Machine each element separately so you can nest them efficiently on the board and glue-mount where needed. • They scale up or down freely, so resize each piece to suit your rail, door or frame before cutting.
